2. Citadel encrypts the data, and transmits it to their secure server for posting.
3. Bank Routing Code (RTN) numbers are automatically checked for accuracy by the Citadel Commerce database. If the numbers are incorrect, the customer is presented with the input form again to correct account information.
4. The online site is notified of the transaction, and your purchase is approved. You can also print a receipt, if you wish.
5. If the account has insufficient funds, the merchant is automatically notified, and the RCK electronic check recovery system begins the collection process, at no additional cost.

All transactions are finalized within 72 hours, if processed before 3:00 PM CST, and most online sites will have money in the bank before any products are shipped.

• To if you want to open an account with Citadel, you must have a checking account at a financial institution in the U.S. and the check must be payable in U.S. dollars.
