Poker Store to discontinue shipping to the USA

After 3 years of pokersupplies.com shipping orders to the USA, Neil McVicar calls it quits on shipping south of the border.

Neil McVicar, Kitchener, Ontario native and owner/operator of Canada"s Poker Store has said that they will no longer ship orders to the USA.

"We"ve just had way too many problems with orders getting ripped to pieces by customs officials" Neil said.

Pokersupplies.com used to ship to the US on a regular basis to customers wishing to take advantage of the US/Canadian dollar exchange rate.

"It"s really sad, but it doesn"t do the customer any good to receive their order only to find it sliced and diced open, with product destroyed or even missing"

Neil has said that as many as 30% of the orders shipped south of the boarder result in some kind of problem.

Will this hurt the bottom line of Canada"s Poker Store?

"Well, it"s never fun to turn away business, but over 85% of our customers are Canadian, so it won"t do all that much to the bottom line. It will be business as usual in Canada for poker fans" Neil commented.

"We"ll still service existing and repeat customers, but just won"t be accepting new ones from the US unfortunately. It"s too bad really, we"re adding a great deal more to our line up including poker tables"
