| Roles Available For Kiss Of The Spider Woman |
8/26/1999 The University Theatre will hold additional auditions for Kiss Of The Spider Woman, The Musical on Wednesday, Sept 1 in Room 26 of the Ham Fine Arts Building. The roles of Warden, Gabriel, and several male dancers are needed to complete the ensemble cast. Dancers should be prepared to dance at 7 p.m. At 9 p.m. those auditioning for the roles of Gabriel and the Warden, lyric baritone and baritone respectively, should be prepared to sing a song of their choice and a cold reading from the script. An accompanist will be provided. Winner of the 1993 Tony Award for best musical, Kiss of the Spider Woman, the Musical will be directed and choreographed by guest artist Rafael Castanera. Warren Marsh is the musical director. Rehearsals for the production will start on Thursday September 2 Weekday rehearsals will be held during the evenings. Weekend rehearsals will be held mostly during daytime hours. Kiss of the Spider Woman, the Musical will open on Oct. 1st and run Oct. 1, 2,3,8,9 and 10.
