| SHOWBOAT NOW A "WINNER" WONDERLAND! |
1/7/2000 January 07, 2000 LAS VEGAS, NV -- At the 'Boat, the fun never stops. The Showboat Hotel, Casino and Bowling Center, on the Boulder Strip, has been turned into a "Winner Wonderland!" Now through the end of February, players have the chance to win a million dollars -- along with other cash prizes -- Showboat t-shirts and memorabilia, bonus points, and tickets to the prestigious Winston Cup races! Dreams of riches are being fulfilled with scratch cards good for a chance at winning $1,000,000. They are being distributed generously throughout the property. Those who don't win the million get automatically entered into a 2nd Chance Drawing for one of 15 cash prizes equaling a total of $10,000. The drawing will be held Wed., March 1 in the Mardi Gras Lounge and winners need not be present to win. Big Easy Club members who earn 2,500 points by Feb. 29, 2000 get an "I Survived the Millennium Mayhem, 2000" t-shirt or their choice of a Showboat logo'd item. Since the Showboat will be changing it's name this year, these items will become fond memorabilia for collectors. Bonus points are being earned by Big Easy Club members when they enroll a friend, who's not already a member, in the Big Easy Club. When the member's friend earns 5,000 points, the member gets 5,000 bonus points or one free night's stay at the Showboat. The new enrollee gets his or her choice of a free night's stay at the Showboat or double points for up to 30 days following his or her enrollment. When Big Easy Club members earn 25,000 points from Feb. 1-29, 2000, they'll be qualified to receive a pair a tickets to the prestigious Winston Cup races at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. There is a limit of two pairs per person. Tickets will be awarded on a first earned, first given basis until they are all distributed.
